FAMILY AND YOUTH INTERVENTION PROGRAM
The Y.E.S. House Outpatient Day Treatment Program serves youth who are transitioning from out-of-home placement (court involvement), are in need of treatment, and those who have been or would be expelled or suspended from public school. It is the goal of the program to provide youth with educational and treatment services while keeping them in their homes. From 8 am-3 pm youth attend school, and from 3 pm-7 pm they participate in treatment.
Students receive individual and group counseling, learn independent living skills, work with professionals to treat their substance abuse problems, do school-related homework, and attend life skills sessions. Individual, group, and family counseling are also included in the program. The average length of participation is 4 to 6 months.
