Ashley was born and raised in South Dakota.  She and her family moved to Gillette in 2010 when she took the safety position with Basin Electric Dry Fork Station.  She is currently their Sr. Safety Coordinator. Ashley graduated in 2008 from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineer and a Minor in Occupational Safety.  She continued on with her education and graduated in 2012 with a Masters in Engineering Management. Ashley and her husband spend their free time with their four children.  They enjoy spending their winters in the mountains snowmobiling and their summers traveling, camping and fishing. Ashley was appointed as a member of the board for the Y.E.S. House Foundation in 2017.
